utica is a town across the river from starved rock. i got there just after sunrise. as i drove down main street i saw that church in the background. i turned around and drove back to get this picture.
orange is a complementary color of blue. when the two are together it throws off a wave lenght of whitish light.
in the forest, there are many forms of life that are overlooked. i saw this log. even though if had fallen to the ground, life still stems from it.
as i walked along the river i would see many trees the flood has claimed. this is a few of them. i liked the way they are twisted together. it will only be for a moment and time will take them away. a picture captures time. that is an art.

hi everyone, i see that life is not forever. i saw so much i wish i could remember. over time, i learned to hate the negitiveness of life and dwell in the world of art, where time has little meaning. click on pictures to enlarge. many are from costa rica, but i mix it up. share site with a friend. at the end of photos it might say older posts, click on that to see more. click under my photo where it says view my complete profile for more blog sites.
